No, DCCW is a nonpartisan organization. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that invites all sides of the conversation to the table to collaborate on solutions to climate change.
As a nonpartisan group, we prioritize dialogue focused on commonalities while encouraging respectful disagreements. By bringing together diverse perspectives—across political, professional, and personal viewpoints—we aim to create more comprehensive and effective solutions to the climate challenges we face.
Our belief is simple: collaboration leads to better outcomes. DCCW is a space for constructive dialogue, innovative ideas, and collective action, regardless of political affiliations.

DCCW (April 28 – May 2, 2025) is a week-long event that establishes Washington, DC as the nation’s center of climate innovation. It brings together policymakers, climate professionals, industry leaders, and community organizers to drive local and global climate action through workshops, panels, exhibitions, and networking events.

DCCW is a volunteer-led initiative guided by a steering committee composed of individuals and organizations deeply ingrained in the climate community. The committee includes:

This collective ensures that DCCW reflects the diverse voices and expertise needed to create meaningful climate action and lasting change.
DC Climate Week (DCCW) is an initiative operating under Climate DC, LLC, a Limited Liability Company dedicated to fostering a thriving community of climate professionals and organizations in the Washington, DC area.
DCCW is fiscally sponsored by Halcyon, a Washington, DC-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization renowned for empowering entrepreneurs and changemakers. Through its support, Halcyon helps amplify the impact of climate-focused initiatives by providing access to critical resources, networks, and funding opportunities that drive meaningful change in the region.
Getting involved

Absolutely! Organizations can sponsor events, days, or the week as a whole. In-kind sponsorships, such as donating space or services, are also welcome. Learn more about sponsorship by reaching out to hello@dcclimateweek.com.

Yes! We welcome individuals and organizations interested in speaking or hosting panels at one of our hub locations. Each day is centered around a specific theme, making hub locations the perfect venues to share expertise, inspire action, and connect with attendees. Apply to speak here.

Anyone can apply to register a participating event at DCCW.
Participating events are hosted by the local community at nearby venues; they are not organized by DCCW nor are they located at the hub venues.
Register your event using the DCCW Official Event Guide. Once your event is submitted on Luma, we will review it and add it to the official DCCW calendar.

All hub events are free and open to all.
Events hosted by partner and external organizations — not located at the hubs — may have a cost to register.
All events require registration due to capacity constraints.
